Du nouveau... / Some news...

Waou, ça fait un mois tout pile que je n'ai rien posté ! O_o

En fait, j'ai fait plein de trucs, mais je n'avais pas vraiment envie de bloguer, le bon côté de la chose, c'est que je vais avoir des choses à montrer... ^^'

Wow, it's been one entire month since I last posted anything on this blog! O_o Well, I did many things, but I didn't feel like blogging, the good side of it is that now, I have things to show... ^^'

Pour commencer, voici ce que j'ai brodé, il y a (fiouuuuuuu!!!) trois semaines au moins, pour en faire mon HalloSAL de mai (pour une fois que je suis en avance) étant donné que les HalloSAL de novembre dernier à avril sont constitués par mon sampler... Que vous verrez en avril, pas avant, l'est pas fini de broder... :P

Modèle Bent Creek, Happy Halloween Snapper, brodé sur toile 14 fils/cm, dont j'ai changé la plupart des couleurs et que j'ai réalisé avec plein de points spéciaux pour changer un peu des petites croix ; je l'ai monté en housse et j'ai glissé un coussinet à l'intérieur.

To begin, here what I finished three weeks ago, as my May HalloSAL (I'm in advance for once, yay!), as the HalloSALs from last November to April will be my Halloween Sampler... that you will see only in April, because it's not ready yet anyway... :P

This is a BC design, Happy Halloween Snapper, stitched on 36 ct linen, I changed most of the colors and used a few specialty stitches to change a bit from cross-stitch only. I finished it into a cover and slipped a little pillow into it.

Ensuite, voici ce que j'ai fini, il y a deux semaines (^^'), un modèle gratuit de Blackbird Designs (que vous pourrez retrouver sur leur blog : voir mes liens sur le côté, cliquer sur "tout afficher" si le lien n'apparaît pas) que j'ai brodé sur une toile 12 fils/cm avec des fils teints maison.

Et pendant un mois, j'ai aussi crocheté un peu, par exemple, les petites roses qu'on voit sur les photos, j'ai aussi fait un peu de lecture...

During this last month, I also made some crochet, for instance, these little roses you can see on the pictures, I've also done some reading...

Bon, je n'ose vous dire "à bientôt" des fois que... hein... ^^' Alors je vous dis à la prochaine, parce que, comme je vous le disais au début, j'ai des choses à montrer... ;))

Une forêt paisible

Je pensais avoir perdu ce modèle, mais lorsque j'ai retrouvé, par le plus pur des hasards, la fiche de Peaceful Forest de Bent Creek, j'ai été prise d'une envie de le broder incontrôlable. Il faut dire que cela faisait tellement longtemps que je voulais le broder, mais vous savez bien ce que c'est, on repousse toujours, on a d'autres trucs à faire en "priorité", tout ça et puis... un jour, on ne retrouve plus la grille et on réalise qu'on l'a probablement perdue lors du déménagement... :'(

I thought I had lost the chart of this model, but when I found my Peaceful Forest chart by a stroke of luck, I was so glad that I felt in a hurry to stitch it right away! You see, before, I'd always had something else to stitch first, and so on... until one day, I just couldn't find the chart... I thought it had been probably lost when we moved... :'(

Enfin, bref, voici donc Peaceful Forest... ;)) J'ai changé presque toutes les couleurs, notamment pour les arbres arrondis, j'ai utilisé un fil teint maison...

So here it is, Peaceful Forest from Bent Creek. I changed almost all colors, I used a home dyed thread for the rounded trees...

Bon, je ne suis pas sûre d'avoir repris goût aux petites croix, on verra ça plus tard, rien n'est gagné, mais rien n'est perdu non plus... :P

Well, I'm not sure I have gone back to be fond of cross-stitching, we'll see, time will tell... :P
